You must always be careful about the apps you use on your smartphone: people with bad intentions could, without telling you, use malicious apps to obtain information about you and then carry out prohibited actions that could harm you.
There are rules (you can find them here) which serve to protect you from all this.
Here are some important things to know when using an app:

  • for what reasons are the data used;
  • whether it is mandatory to provide the data or not and what happens in this case;
  • if the owner, i.e. who collected the data, intends to use the data for a reason other than that for which they were collected;

  • if the owner wants to move the data to countries outside the European Union;

2 - Data necessary for the use of some application commands

If what you are about to read seems complicated or you have doubts about what to do, ask a trusted adult to help you.
Some application commands can only be used if you indicate some information (image file paths, hereinafter: resources) stored in the device (smartphone, tablet or other) on which Squbity is installed.
The paths that locate resources are stored on the device you are using.
The resources are only used within the game to make it more fun.
The application expressly requests permission to access resources.
You can refuse permission to access resources, thus renouncing the use of commands that require them.
You can revoke access permission to resources at any time, using the methods offered by the Android operating system installed on the device in use.
You can restore access permission to resources within the application at any time.
You can at any time modify or reset the storage in the device in use of the paths that identify the resources.
If you do not understand the meaning of some windows that open within the game, before doing anything, ask a trusted adult for help.
No other person, other than the user of the application, has access to the data mentioned in this paragraph and present in the device in use; the collection, and the subsequent activities that may derive from it, of data by the owner is therefore excluded, in accordance with the provisions of GDPR regulation.

3 - Data used to combat illegal activities

This paragraph contains a lot of technical information; if you have difficulty reading, ask a trusted adult for help.
To protect the user from possible cyber threats and to protect the copyright of the owner, the application carries out legitimacy checks to establish:

  • whether the application binary is original,
  • if the Play installation is original,
  • if the Android device you are using is original.

To do these legitimacy checks, the application code uses the Play Integrity API developed and managed by Google.
- For more information about APIs and Google, see also Google APIs Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. -
The Play Integrity API is a runtime interface with the Google Play Store; communication between the application and the Play Store uses the internet connection.
The Play Store carries out its own procedures, which include data management pursuant to Google Play Terms of Service.
The information below describes how the Play Integrity API handles data to process application-specific requests.

Data always collected on usage
  • Information provided by the application in the request, including the requestHash and nonce fields.
  • Application metadata, including package name, version number, and signing certificate.
  • The Google Play license status of the application for user accounts signed in on the device.
  • Device information, including a key attestation certificate and a device attestation token generated by Google Play Services.
Purpose of data collection The collected data is used to verify application health, license status, environment details, and device health.
Data encryption The data is encrypted.
Data sharing The data is not transferred to third parties.
Deleting data Data is deleted after a fixed retention period.

In the event that the check finds the absence of a regular license for the use of the application, appropriate communication of this is given to the user.
At the same time, a suitable procedure is proposed to make a regular purchase of the application on the Play Store.
No other party, outside of Google, has access to the data covered by this paragraph; the collection, and the subsequent activities that may derive from it, of data by the owner is therefore excluded, in accordance with the provisions of GDPR regulation.
